Kathmandu is situated in a bowl shaped valley in central Nepal. The Kingdom extends about 885 km. east to west and 193 km. in width north to south. The entire terrain is like a steep incline, descending from the icy Himalayan heightsto the hot Terai flatland within a short distance.

 

Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 827m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure. This  enchanting city has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panaromic views of Himalayan  peaks. The serenity oflakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an  ambience of peace and magic. So today the city has not only become the starting point for most  popular trekking and rafting destinations but also a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Day 01:  Arrive in Kathmandu

Day 03 : Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara with Visiting Manakamana Temple

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

Upon arrival meet our office representative, transfer the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

Morning one hour of Everest Mountain Flight (Optional).

After breakfast go for cultural sightseeing of Pashupatinath, Boudhnath & Bhaktapur Durbar square

Pashupatinath- Nepal's most sacred Hindu shrine and one of the greatest Shiva sites, is located on the banks of the Bagmati River 5 kilometers north-east of Kathmandu Valley.

Boudhnath:  the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It is the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and rich in Buddhist symbolism.

Bhaktapur Durbar square: Bhaktapur Durbar Square, one of the most charming architectural showpieces of Kathmandu valley is a conglomeration of pagoda and shikhara-style temples around a fifty-five window palace of brick and wood. Then drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 03            : Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara with Visiting Manakamana Temple

After breakfast drive to Pokhara. It is around 6 hour’s scenic drive through mountain terrain. On the way visit Manakamana Temple by cable car.

Manakamana Temple- the sacred temple of Hindu Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati venerated since 17th Century is believed that Goddess Manakamana grants the wishes of all those who make the pilgrimage to her shrine and worship her.After Darshan continue drive to Pokhara. The rest of the day leisure (Walking along lake side market/ boating in Fewa lake/ Relaxation at the shore of lake).

Day 04            : Fly Pokhara to Jomsom and Visit Muktinath Temple

Early breakfast then drive to Pokhara Airport to board flight of Jomsom (25 minutes). Upon arrival at Jomsom airport drive to Muktinath Temple by Jeep. Darshan and Puja.

Jomsom: also known as Dzongsam or New Fort, is a town located at an altitude of about 2700 m in Mustang District, Nepal. It extends over both the banks of the Kali Gandaki River.

 

 Muktinath Temple- One of the most ancient Hindu temples of God Vishnu located in Muktinath Valley at an altitude of 3,710 meters at the foot of the Thorong La mountain pass, Mustang district, Nepal.

Then drive back to Jomsom

Day 05: Fly Jomsom to Pokhara and Pokhara Sightseeing

Morning fly from Jomsom to Pokhara. Check in at hotel. Then set out for sightseeing of Pokhara Valley (David Fall, Mahadev Cave, Tibetan Refugee Camp, Seti River Gorge, Bindabashini Temple, Fewa Lake).

Day 06:Drive Pokhara to Janakpurdham

After breakfast drive to Janakpurdham. Upon arrival in Janakpurdham check in hotel.

Janakpurdham- One of the historical and religious cities of Nepal. The centre of city is dominated by the impressive Janaki Mandir to the north and west of the bazaar. Next to this temple is Vivah Mandap where Lord Rama and Sita are said to have been married. The two most important, Dhanush Sagar and Ganga Sagar, are located close to the city centre.Then go for visit and explore Janaki Temple and Vivah Mandap. Evening enjoy Arati Ceremony at Janaki temple.

Day 07            :Drive Janakpurdham to Kathmandu

After breakfast proceed to Dhanusha Dham then drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 08            :Final Departure from Nepal

 Transfer to Kathmandu Airport for the flight of your onward journey.
